Birthday Prince Turns 1!

Just a few pics of my baby boy's first birthday...we planned a fun-filled weekend for him, including trips to Linvilla, Chanticleer, and the Aquarium. Of course, he also enjoyed his very first cupcake too....here are some quick snapshots. Note the progression...going from innocent frosting smearing to all out removal of the crown, frosting horns, and cake smashing!

Alma Mater....

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing and absolutely stunning 4-month-old baby girl at her daddy's alma mater, Haverford College. We had so much fun running all over the beautiful campus, and when sweet L. got sleepy, her parents rocked her to sleep on the steps of Founders Hall. It was a pleasure meeting your adorable family...enjoy your previews!

357 days old...

I cannot believe the way time flies. One minute you are holding your baby's head for them, the next, they are letting go of your hand for the first time as they take a step on their own. It is an awesome and powerful thing, to be a mommy, and I can honestly say I wouldn't trade a second of it for the world. As Evan's big day approaches, we decided to take him out and get some photos of his sweet smiles and shining eyes. This little guy will be walking (and/or running) soon, so we thought it would be great to catch these pics while we could still catch him!

A Budding Artist...

Evan did his first painting ever while learning about the color blue yesterday. As a mommy, I couldn't be more proud; and as an artist, I am impressed! At almost 1-yr, I think this boy has got some talent! I think it looks like a robin and it's nest....what do you think?
